| This is a quite abstract scene of Highway 1 winding through Big Sur. Instead of including the sea, this is looking eastward to the backcountry of the Santa Lucias. You can see a leaning utility pole with a hint of the road behind it, and then a red pole with a car-shape to its left next to the dividing line. I think of my painting as music---a composition of rhythmic lines and shapes. |
